They give without expecting nothing back. They smile to almost everyone, that cute little smile, without asking for a favor after, like most people do. They love unconditionally and they support each other while hard and tough moments. They keep faith, no matter what on earth happens, and they got each other’s back. They share almost everything, even the tiny pieces of bread. They’re simple, loving and caring. You call them poor, for god’s sake, who’s really poor? Who goes to bed at night, crying until they have no more tears, even though they’re neither hungry nor thirsty, neither sleeping in the street nor homeless. Richness is not about money or a glamorous life. It’s more about love, forgiveness and compassion, more about generosity, well-being and big dreams. Have you forgiven the ones who hurt you back in time? Have you forgotten them? Have you moved on and left the bad and awful memories behind? Are you happy? Frankly, are you? It was never about Bling Bling and parties, never about how much money you got or what fragrance you’re wearing. For once, look at yourself in the mirror and try to remove that mask you’ve been wearing for damn so long, get to know the real you, the honest you! Speak with yourself about the issues you have and whatever problem you’re in. Try to help yourself because if you won’t, nobody will. Get yourself out of the poverty you’re living in and fill your heart with hope, faith and happiness. Bring joy to your life and don’t expect anyone to do it.

A wake up call – Tunisia is screaming for help
Can’t you it hear it mourning – our Tunisia – ? Can’t you hear it screaming for help but no one seems to respond? no one seems to care? Everyone is becoming more and more busy of his own things but what about our country? our Tunisia? Politicians are fighting over the power. Citizens seem ready to kill over the stupidest things ever in the world. What is wrong with people nowadays? Remember the old days of our beautiful country, when your grandparents used to smile to almost everyone, even the strangers. When they used to greet each other at morning and night, when ” إن شاء الله نهارك زين ” used to make their day. The smile never left their faces. It wasn’t a fake one though, it was a very real one! Remember when they were extremely happy and satisfied with their lives even though they had absolutely nothing of what you have right now. People helped one another while tough times, without getting anything in return. When someone is sick, every single neighbour is around him to wish that he gets well soon and to bring him anything he needs. No one cared about money, power or control! What happened to our old ethics and morals? Why did we let our Tunisia down? Why don’t we care about each other anymore? We became devided: south, north, east, west. Since when? We’re all Tunisians, weither we like it or not. l just wish, for one second, people stop being so selfish and start thinking reasonably and wisely. Tunisia is screaming for help, would you respond please?
The bright side of your life
I dream of freedom, of a peaceful world, of beauty, success, inspiration, and big events. I wish for things that are unreachable sometimes, that are hard to get; but still, I wish for them despite everything because I know I can do it. I believe, deep inside, that good things don’t only happen to other people. They can happen to me as well, why not? I remain hopeful no matter what on earth happens and hold tight to that little dream. Incredibly amazing things can happen to you too, to me, to all of us. Our life can change now, but only in case we want that change bad enough, start acting, believing, searching and getting motivated. Don’t pass by the beautiful details in your day without taking enough time to notice them, enjoy them and appreciate their existence in your life. Kiss your mum’s forehead in a random morning; text a friend you haven’t seen for a while; write a letter to yourself and mention all the achievements you have done so far in your life, no matter how small they seem; have a big cup of hot coffee in a cold rainy night; enjoy reading a good book in an early morning; go out just for the sake of breathing some fresh air and smiling to strangers; make a delicious cake and have fun decorating it; party like you’re twenty and advise like you’re eighty; listen to good music and try to read between the lines to get the real meanings of each word; enjoy the sweetness of Quran and its incredible power of healing the scars of broken hearts and conforting the troubled minds. Life is a sweet cup of chocolate, enjoy it !
A woman, is everything.
A woman is not the wife of man. A woman is a storm with skin, a volcano with bones. A woman is a river that falls down from a huge mountain, making absolutely no noise, shining under the sun just like bright diamonds. She is a tender and smiling baby when she is calm, and a wild animal when life pushes her over the bridge. A woman is a fighter, a fighter against all sorts of oppression, discrimination and disrespect. A woman is a lady, a classy lady, as classy as Queen Elizabeth, but when it needs to be, she becomes a rebel, a Lara Craft. A woman is an astonishingly beautiful flower that blossoms again with every new day, with every new sunrise. She is a burning fire when her feelings are taken for granted, and a sweet lullaby when she is treated the way she deserves. She is all the seducing and amazing things in life. A woman, is everything.
Be the change, in your own life.
Stop looking for someone on whom you can rely, who will make you happy and turn you life to paradise. Be that person for yourself. It’s not that hard; try it. Instead of caring so much about others’ feelings, care about yours. Instead of being afraid of hurting others, take good care of your heart to not have it hurt. Be a change, in your own life. Be your own source of happiness, of motivation and inspiration. Laugh, when there is absolutely no reason to be happy. Smile, even when everything around you is falling down.
Jealousy . . .
There will always be the kind of people who will hate you no matter what good things you do to them, who will never thank you or congrate you for your success even though they pretend to be your friends, who will keep plagiarizing your thoughts and ideas and keep being a copy of you but actually the reason why they do that is because they envy you for what you have and have made so far in your life and don’t want to admit it, not even to themselves.
Getting out from a dark hole, she finds it difficult to open her eyes, to admire the scenery’s beauty. She wishes she never walked out from where she used to live; hiden and unknown. She prefers loneliness over this bright light. God only knows how many shining stars used to make her life so bright which all faded away now, letting her struggle in a huge world of darkness. She never wants to admit it though; admit that she was not made for such places, that she is destined to shine and to move the whole world upside down, that she is the one who will change everything and blind them all.
- How is she?
- Who?
- The one you dumped me for.
- What? there is no girl in the story ..
- I know, I wasn’t talking about a girl. I was talking about life. How is life?
- . . .
- You dumped me for life, didn’t you? So how is it going, without me? Are you having the fun you hoped for, the freedom you gave up on the love of your life for?
- But I’ve never given up on you, I loved you ..
- But you loved life more, to a point that you sacrified your love for it; the love you pretend to have towards me. Was it too difficult to hold on a little bit harder and choose me instead?
- No, but ..
- Don’t explain it. I know exactly what happened. You weren’t brave enough, and you didn’t thought for a second that, without you, I will be this strong, this happy and this beautiful .. Now that you chose your own way, let me tell you that you did the right thing. You helped me to know what I really deserve in life; I deserve all the things that have nothing to do with you or your name.
Shut your ears and keep going
You can never predict what can happen without taking the risk to dare to try, to experience and to know it all by yourself. You cannot possibly say that this thing is not good or the other thing is bad without going through it by yourself. You should not believe what others think; they do not always tell the truth. One time they love you, the other time they start saying shit about you; is it true what they say? Of course not. Then what makes you believe them now?
When someone asks you: ” How old are you ? “, think wisely before answering because you may not give them the right answer.
In this blog, I ain’t trying to sound wise or genius. In fact, I may unpurposely sound extremely stupid sometimes. I just write whenever I feel in need to write and burst out all the hidden thoughts and wonders. In every article, there is a part of my soul transformed into words; there is an episode of my life, of my existence so far. Even though I ain’t old enough to talk about experience, but at least I can talk about life lessons for one starts learning ever since their first years living; it is only an experience when it leaves its scar on our souls, torturing us for a little while and leaving us thankful after getting rid of the pain or getting used to its existence among us and starting to live with it. No matter how painful and tragedic events one goes through, they should remain victorious until their last breath and never let defeat gets to their hearts. Your heart; it is what defines your age, your current psychological state and how many years you spent living. If I ask a thirty-year-old woman how old is she, she will automatically answer: ” I am thirty years old. ” with a confident tone though. If I will ask her, with a sarcastic smile, to think well before answering and answer again, she will definitely think I am insane. If I will be looked upon as insane for looking to everything in life from a different perspective, then let it be! Thirty years: ten years of childhood; marvellous memories though she can barely remember half of them, to not say none of them. Nine years of being a teen; the most tough and challenging period of time in everyone’s life, where one will have to make the most difficult decisions in their lives; whether to be a good person or to just follow their instincts and be considered as bad ones, whether to follow their childhood’s dreams of being a lawyer or a doctor or to just run after their teen’s dreams of being a bartender, a famous drug dealer or in the most decent cases, a football player, a singer or a movie star in the case of most females. Eleven years of realising that actually life is not paradise and one should suffer in order to get to serenity, reasling that all married couples ain’t as happy as they seem in front of people and that may be, if they thought wiser about it, they wouldn’t have ended marrying each other. Eleven years of analysing every second of their teen years, thinking about every situation they’ve been through and what if they’ve made a different decision than the one they took back then .. Too much stress and too much thinking; waved between ” what if ” and ” if only “, one doesn’t spend much time actually living and enjoying the current moment. If I may ask her again : ” How old are you? ” I want her to count the happy moments she lived, the moments when she laughed until her body hurt, the moments she spent next to the people she loved most in the world, and most importantly the times she decided to dry her tears and stand up instead of letting sadness gets in her body and control it .. This is what is called true living and that is what should be count while one is asked how old are you. One should, therefore, make every second of his life worth talking about and worth counting, never waste his time regretting his past mistakes and just face life with a large optimistic smile keeping his thoughts as positive as they could. I love you all !
Book Review #1 Eleven Minutes - Paulo Coelho
It has been almost one week since I’ve finished reading the book, yet it is still haunting me. It is not a book you read and forget within a couple of days. Through this book, one knows too much about a world they barely heard about before. Maria, a young lady, has chosen to be a prostitute. Shortly before I started reading this novel, I used to believe that women do not choose to be prostitutes; life forces them to be so. But now, I started to think that, at some point, they had the freedom to quit and liberate themselves; yet, they never did. They preferred to remain slaves to easy money. Maria, however, quitted, and that is what is so unique about her. Maria has set a deadline and was brave enough to not give up. She was unique in every possible way. Being a prostitute has never stopped her from being a cultivated and honorable woman. She never lost respect of herself though. Persons who have not read the novel or have read half of it perceive it as a sex book. I would say that only dirty minds and poor souls would think of it this way. Symbolism is quite present in the novel and every little detail is highly significant. It is an analysis of human beings and their psychology. It proves that love can exist without sex and that sex can be performed without being felt. This book shows that all human beings secretly want to be loved, feel protected and cared about. Maria was seeking freedom in love and wanted to demonstrate that falling in love liberates humans from all boundaries and does not tie them like some people think. She believed that while reaching the limits, one gets to know themselves and it is not in fear that human beings will discover their strengths. People know everything about their weaknesses but little thing about their strengths. Fewer are the ones who reached the point where being strong is their only choice. At that moment of their lives, they will know what they are truly capable of doing and figure out that, actually, nothing can stop them.

Happiness from one of the 100th perspectives.
Happiness .. I am not sure what came first to your mind while reading this word but I am sure not all of you thought of the same thing. You might have thought of your parents, of glamorous parties and fancy cars, or simply of a huge library filled with every single novel you ever wanted to read. When I examine the definition of happiness, I never end up with one definition; happiness is a state of mind caused by .. The reasons change from one person to another, from one category of persons to another. To the rich, happiness may refer to a successful deal or a meeting with an important person from which they can benefit. To the poor, it is far from being the same as the wealthy. To the poor, it refers to being able to go to school and learn how to read and write, to having new clothes other than the ones they have been wearing for months, and sometimes, to finding something that shuts their hunger down. Happiness my dear has numerous meanings. Do not be surprised when a person shows extreme happiness when you smile at them first; you may never know what problems are they going through currently and how persons turned them their backs. It may look silly how a poor kid cries over a tiny piece of bread and even feel annoyed by the sound of their crying without realizing that maybe this is the only thing they have eaten in two days. People are not the same, do not have the same issues in life and do not feel happy because of the same things. Never understimate the smallest details in life thus and act gently towards all kinds of people; you may never know content it may make them feel.
