Dare to stand up and say no!

It has always been a dream, to be able to stand up and say no; no against women discrimination, no against domestic violence excercised against women, no against forcing women to not be active in society. I have witnessed several unfair acts in which women were forced to let go of their precious dreams; the dreams they always kept hidden and did not want to share because even dreaming is prohibited sometimes and it pains my heart to not be able to stop it, to do something against it. It pains my heart to remain passive and mute. During my journey in life so far, I am seeking the help to be able to stand up, fight for these oppressed women and make my voice heard. I am sick and tired of living in a patriarchal society where women are considered as second-degree citizens. In my educational journey so far, I have been taught by amazingly educated yet very humble women; women who marked my life and to whom I will always be grateful. I remember a teacher of mine with whom I was so close. One day, I had an awful grade at a subject I was good at yet I did not revise well for it. She screamed right at my face in front of the whole class saying: " You, lady, have potentials to prove! " Back at that time, I took what she said for granted for I did not think, for a second, that that sentence will change my life. I want to be among those women to whom people stare respectfully, those women who are capable of changing the world, of fighting and succeeding. You, me, and every single female in this world can be this woman, if only we want it bad enough to stand up and say no, no against understimating women for we are, ladies, unbeatable.
